I think with the upcoming design-a-weapon contest. You have to wonder where these weapons would be going to. Some says it's GW:EN, other think that these new weapons might be used in GW 2. Mind you that we still got a year or two away from GW 2's release but what can you do with these new weapons that they gotten from the contest?
I think Green Weapons won't go out of style and that A-Net will keep putting out green weapons in future GW series. |

If the argument around guild wars is that it is supposed to be about skill and not grind, "easy" access to green/collector/ or any other type of max weapons is a good thing. If you want to be 1337 and have the time/gold, go buy an expensive skin to differentiate yourself. The way it is allows the casual gamer to be on the same playing field when it comes to mechanics.
